The current members of the board are introduced below.
Maurice E.P. Gunderson
Mr Gunderson is a venture capital investor with a focus on investments in new and alternative energy sources and technologies.
Mr Gunderson is currently a Venture Partner with CMEA Ventures in San Francisco. Previously he was co-founder of Nth Power, a venture capital firm specializing in investments emerging from the global restructuring of the energy industry. Prior to founding Nth Power,
Mr Gunderson spent over twenty years developing profitable products and has launched five successful companies. He is a specialist in thermodynamics and energy technologies and has been instrumental in the development of cryogenic equipment, energy systems, turbo-machinery, and computer-based control systems for process plants and pipeline systems.
Mr Gunderson received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1985), a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermodynamics) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Oregon State University (1974, 1975). He is a member of ASME, SAE, ASHRAE, AIAA, and AEE. He is a patent holder and a Registered Professional Engineer. He is an instrument-rated private pilot.
Mr Gunderson has served on the board of directors of several energy technology companies, including: Capstone Turbine, Electronic Power Conditioning, Pentech Solutions, NEOPhotonics, NanoGram, Metallic Power, STM Power, Pentadyne Power, H2Gen Innovations, Clean Air Power, CellTech Power, and Superprotonic.
Jeff Allen
Jeff was a founder of Scion-Sprays Ltd and responsible for much of the core technology. Jeff now concentrates on the further development of the product as well as creating, developing and managing future technology and products. Jeff is also Technical Consultant and a Non-Executive Director.
Form 1983 – 2001 Jeff worked at Lotus Engineering as a Chief Engineer, responsible for research projects in engine technology.
Jeff has over 30 Patents including variable valve timing systems, direct Injection processes, auto ignition control systems, electrostatic atomization, and fuel control systems to name but a few.
Jeff attended Loughborough University, UK obtaining a BTech Degree in Automotive Engineering and Design (Hons) and is a Member of the Institute of Physics.
